Debra Antney is a celebrity manager, empowerment speaker and hip-hop business woman. She is also responsible for the careers of Nicki Minaj, French Montana, Gucci Mane, her son Waka Flocka Flame, and more. Debra talks about leaving her hometown of Queens to go to Georgia for the first time, when all her kids were really young, and realizing she wanted to live there. She talks about getting her hustle mentality from her father, and thinks back to her first time managing an artist.

Debra talked about growing up in New York, and how everyone from L.L. Cool J, to Salt & Pepper, to Method Man came up together, and frequented her mother’s house. Debra also talks about how she linked up with Gucci Mane initially for charity, and then it spun into something bigger, when she decided to take him to New York.
